Park View CVS Open!
While the CVS ribbon cutting scheduled for 10:00 am this morning didn’t happen — and let me say that a Sunday ribbon cutting struck me as an odd thing to do — Park View’s CVS did open today. I’m sure the official opening has been rescheduled and will post an update when that information is known.
After walking around the store this morning, I have to say that it’s really nice to have a pharmacy back in the neighborhood. There once was a time when there was a pharmacy on Georgia Avenue every couple of blocks. Having a new business on Georgia that isn’t a liquor store, bar, or hair salon is a real win for the community.

You do realize there’s a pharmacy in Safeway, right?
